SnapStream Media Announces Upcoming New Products: the Firefly PC Remote and Beyond Media
January 8, 2004 (HOUSTON) - SnapStream Media, Inc., a leading developer of digital entertainment products, today announced two new products: the Beyond Media software for photos, music, DVD and videos and the Firefly PC remote control.
The upcoming Beyond Media product is designed to complement the company's Beyond TV personal video recording (PVR) software, bringing digital photography, digital music, DVDs and digital videos into the living room. Built around Beyond TV's award-winning ViewScape™ interface,
Beyond Media delivers both ease of use and a dazzling consumer experience.
The Firefly PC Remote is a hardware product that brings the world's most popular consumer electronics input device, the remote control, to what is rapidly becoming the hub for consumer entertainment, the PC. Firefly comes with an RF remote control, a USB receiver for the PC, and the Firefly
software. The Firefly software gives consumers the ability to control any PC application -- anything from MusicMatch to Winamp to Microsoft™ Powerpoint to Microsoft's Media Center Edition of Windows XP. Firefly also provides a basic full-screen interface and control of all your PCs files
and settings.
