The broadcast source is the means by which you receive television reception. Beyond TV uses the source you select to determine the proper setup process to tune to the channels available for watching and recording via your broadcast source.
Choose the Antenna or Standard Cable option if you receive television reception through a coaxial cable that you connect directly to the video input on your television. This coaxial cable will now connect directly to the TV tuner card in the computer running Beyond TV.
Choose the External Cable Box or Satellite option if you receive television reception on an external set-top box.
