The Streaming Server Settings page allows the user to control Beyond TV's Windows Media streaming server, including the quality, port, and network settings for streaming Live TV and recorded shows in the Windows Media format. WMV streaming of live TV is only available when using a software-encode device.

Note: Beyond TV Link is highly recommended to stream recorded and live TV over a home network -- it works with all TV tuner cards.  


Streaming Quality
The Windows Media (WMV) format Quality profile used for streaming Live TV via the Web Admin interface.

Streaming Server Enabled?
Enables or disables the windows media streaming server. With this option set to Disabled, streaming Live TV or recorded shows will not be possible.

`Prerecorded Shows` Streaming Server Port
The port used to stream recorded shows. This value is most often adjusted to work better, or avoid conflict, with other programs, firewalls, or routers.

Live TV Streaming Enabled
Enables or disables the Live TV Streaming option.

`Live TV` Streaming Server Port
The port used to stream Live TV. This value is most often adjusted to work better, or avoid conflict, with other programs, firewalls, or routers.

Force TCP Streaming
Some network setups do not work properly with streaming in UDP mode, so this option has been created to force streaming in TCP mode only. Try enabling this option if streaming is not working properly.
