General Settings

Screen Saver
The amount of time, in minutes, of inactivity that must elapse before the Viewscape will initiate the screen-saver, which dims or blacks out the screen.

Guide Jump Interval (Hours)
The amount of time, in hours, that a "skip forward" or "skip back" command will jump in the Snapstream.Net Program Guide.

Program Guide Rows
The number of rows displayed in the SnapStream.Net Program Guide grid.

Program Guide Columns
The number of columns displayed in the SnapStream.Net Program Guide grid.

Sound Effects
Specifies whether or not the Viewscape plays a short sound effect on a button press or when a function or menu is accessed.

Portable Media Center Option
Prepares the software to be able to send recordings to a Portable Media Center. When enabled, instructions will appear that, when followed, will prepare the computer on which the software is installed to automatically synchronize Portable Media Center content between the computer and the Portable Media Center. With this option enabled:

A Video Folder will be created specifically to store Portable Media Center content

The "Send to Portable Media Center" option will be enabled:

For existing recordings

·

For recording jobs (available via "View and Edit Details" on recording jobs listed in "Recording Settings and Priorities"

NOTE: The Portable Media Center option is not available for HD recordings.
