If creating a Scanned lineup, the Auto Scan screen will appear, an example of which is displayed below:
The Auto Scan feature will attempt to discern which channels can be tuned by making a short recording on each and analyzing it for video. When it is finished with this scan, the user may clear the check marks in the "Display?" column to suppress these channels from being accessible in Beyond TV. The user may stop the autoscan at any time by hitting the stop autoscan button.
When done configuring the scanned lineup, hit NEXT, and proceed to the next section of this document, HDTV Signal Strength.
