Some problems with Beyond TV can cause an error message to appear in the Warnings area of the main menu. These are the codes that may appear.

Your system failed to establish a trust relationship with SnapStream.Net. This problem is often caused by your system clock being set incorrectly. Currently, your system time is set to [TIME]

Your system time, time zone, or automatic daylight savings adjustment option may be set incorrectly. The SnapStream.Net servers reported the time as , but your system time is set to [TIME]
Check clock time and time zone. Check Windows Update for patches related to Daylight Savings Time.

Beyond TV has detected that your default directory for new recordings, "[FOLDER]", does not exist. Beyond TV cannot record new shows until this setting is fixed. Please select Settings->Recording Preferences and select a default folder. If none exist, please open the Web Admin and select Settings->Video Folders to create one.

Beyond TV has detected that you have no video folders configured. Beyond TV cannot record new shows until this setting is fixed. Please open the Web Admin and select Settings->Video Folders to create one.

Your total capacity for recordings is less than one hour, which is below the minimum recommended capacity of 10 hours. New recordings may expire very quickly.
Unlock some of your existing recordings (change from Keep Until I Delete to Keep Until Space Is Needed) or add hard drive space.

Failed to open port ! This would most likely happen if another application were using this port or the port was being blocked by a firewall. Please shut down Beyond TV, shut down the offending application, and start Beyond TV again.

Beyond TV has stopped a recording due to a lack of free disk space.
Unlock some of your existing recordings (change from Keep Until I Delete to Keep Until Space Is Needed) or add hard drive space.

Beyond TV has stopped a recording due to an unexpected error.
Run the Setup Wizard and delete and recreate the tuner. If this problem recurs, it may indicate that your TV tuning device is failing.

Beyond TV detected a problem with the recorder "[NAME]" and recycled it.
Run the Setup Wizard and delete and recreate the tuner. If this problem recurs, it may indicate that your TV tuning device is failing.

Beyond TV could not find the video capture device "[NAME]". If this is an external capture device, please ensure that it is connected to the system and receiving power. If you have recently updated any related drivers, you may need to rerun the Setup Wizard to correctly reconfigure the system.
Check that your tuner shows up in Device Manager.
Run the Setup Wizard to check the tuner's configuration.

Could not start recorder! Please re-run the Setup Wizard or try to fix your configuration. See log for details.

We're sorry, but Beyond TV encountered multiple interruptions from your capture card while trying to record. Beyond TV does not attempt to restart a recording if more than [NUMBER] interruptions are encountered.
Run the Setup Wizard and delete and recreate the tuner. If this problem recurs, it may indicate that your TV tuning device is failing. With some tuners, this can also indicate a problem with your TV signal.

Your hosts file (located at [LOCATION]) appears to contain a reference to SnapStream in it. This behavior is not required by Beyond TV and indicates that your machine may have been compromised by spyware.
Run spyware and antivirus utilities.

Your guide update has failed.

Beyond TV has detected that your web server port was set to a port that is used by for other services. Your web server port has been reset to the default port number, 8129.
Check other applications for port conflicts. See Web Server Settings.

Beyond TV has detected that your Live TV streaming server port was set to a port that is used by Beyond TV for other services. Your Live TV streaming port has been reset to the default port number, 8080.

Beyond TV has detected that your Windows Media streaming port was set to a port that is used by Beyond TV for other services. Your Windows Media streaming port has been reset to the default port number, 1755.

Beyond TV has detected that your web server and live TV streaming ports were set to the same port. Your web server port has been reset to 8129 and your live TV streaming port has been reset to 8080.

Beyond TV has detected that your web server and Windows Media streaming ports were set to the same port. Your web server port has been reset to 8129 and your Windows Media streaming port has been reset to 1755.

Beyond TV failed to find any channel lineup information. Recordings and Live TV will not work properly until this is fixed. To manually create a new lineup, please open the Web Admin and select Settings->Channels->Create New, or run the Setup Wizard to perform a channel scan.

Beyond TV has detected that vsmon.exe (ZoneAlarm) is running. There is a known incompatibility with this ZoneAlarm version and %s. Please upgrade ZoneAlarm to the most recent version to address this issue.
Update ZoneAlarm.

Beyond TV has detected that Norton Internet Security is running. In order for Beyond TV to run properly, Norton Internet Security must be configured to allow Beyond TV to access the internet and open several ports.

Beyond TV has detected that the Media Center Receiver Service is running. Please disable this service if you wish to use Beyond TV to record and watch TV. The show [NAME], scheduled to record once at on channel [CHANNEL], was not found. [NAME], which is on at that time, will be recorded instead.
This usually indicates a recent change in guide data. Check the TV listings for the programs in question.

Failed to create UPnP Device. Beyond TV Link will not be able to discover server.
Use Enter Server Name for Beyond TV Link.
