Live TV

The Live TV function in the Web Admin allows users to stream Windows Media formatted Live TV from an enabled non-Hardware Encoding Video Input, either to the machine running Beyond TV, or LAN- or WAN-connected PC's.


Upon loading this page, Live TV will begin streaming the lowest-numbered channel available.

To change channels, use the supplied drop-down box.

To stop streaming, hit the "Stop" button in the embedded player.

Notes:

This feature must first be enabled through the Edit screen for a non-Hardware Encoder Input.

If multiple Video Inputs are capable of streaming Windows Media Live TV, or if the only appropriate input is currently in use recording to the Windows Media format, this screen will first ask the user to choose which "session" to join. After selecting a valid recording session, Live TV streaming will begin.

If the all Video Inputs capable of streaming Windows Media Live TV are currently in use recording to another format (MPEG-2 or DivX), this feature will be inaccessible.

Changing channels will not be possible if the Video Input streaming Windows Media Live TV is currently recording.
