This section covers the setup of a Serial Port tuner, as documented in "Choose and install external tuner." As there are no training possibilities for a serial tuner, configuration is relatively easy.
Start by choosing the model of the receiver box to be used by Beyond TV.
There are two entries for DirecTV (non-D10 model) satellite boxes provided here. If one does not work in the "Testing" step, use the BACK button to return to this screen in order to modify the setting, and try again.
Select the entry which most accurately describes the receiver box, and hit NEXT. The following screen will appear, heralding the end of external tuner configuration:
