Settings in Beyond TV

The Viewscape interface provides various settings that govern how it acts. To modify these settings, open the Beyond TV ViewScape and select the Settings option. The following screen will appear:

·	Recording Settings

These settings govern the manner in which Beyond TV records shows.

·	Player Settings

Settings in this section affect Beyond TV's display and playback of video.

·	ShowSqueeze and SmartSkip Settings

Control how and when Beyond TV executes ShowSqueeze and SmartSkip operations.

·	SnapStream.Net Settings

Contains settings relevant to the retrieval of SnapStream.Net Program Guide data. From this menu, the user can also initiate manual Program Guide data updates, or manually download remotely scheduled recording jobs.

·	General Settings

This section contains various other settings such as the Screen Saver timer.

·	Start DVD Burning Trial

This option starts the free 21-day DVD Burning plugin trial. More detail is available in the DVD Burning section of this document. Accessing this option will display the following menu:

Select "Start Trial" to begin the free 21-day trial of the DVD Burning functionality of Beyond TV, or "Cancel" to exit and return to the Settings menu.

Once activated, this option changes into "DVD Burning Settings."

·	DVD Burning Settings

This selection accesses settings that control how the DVD Burning feature of Beyond TV functions.

·	Adjusting Video Settings

This section contains tips on adjusting picture quality while watching recordings or live TV.

Note: Access to advanced settings not found here are available in the Web Admin Settings menu.
