Setup Recordings

The "Setup Recordings" section of the Web Admin interface, available from the Web Admin main menu, allows the user to review and edit existing recording jobs and to create new jobs.

All scheduled recording jobs will appear on this page when the default Recording Manager view is selected. These are listed in order of priority, which can be adjusted in the "Recording Settings and Priorities" section of the ViewScape interface. The type of recording is shown next to the channel on which the recording will occur. The following values will be assigned to a recording job based on its type.
·ONCE: The recording job has been scheduled via "Record this show" or "Record this movie" in the Program Guide.  
·ALWAYS: The recording job has been scheduled via "Record all episodes" in the Program Guide.  
·FIRSTRUN: The recording job has been scheduled via "Record all new episodes" in the Program Guide.  
·Once: The recording job has been scheduled manually, via either the Web Admin or ViewScape interface, to occur once.  
·Weekly: The recording job has been scheduled manually, via either the Web Admin or ViewScape interface, to occur on the same day every week.  
·Weekdays: The recording job has been scheduled manually, via either the Web Admin or ViewScape interface, to occur on weekdays.  
·Daily: The recording job has been scheduled manually, via either the Web Admin or ViewScape interface, to occur every day.  

The following options are also available at the bottom of the page:

·Change Job Priorities: Reorders the recording jobs according to the priorties entered in the text box next to each job  
·Stop current recordings: Enables the user to stop any recordings currently being performed.  
·Delete Selected Jobs: Deletes any recording whose checkbox is marked.  
·Create New Recording: Takes the user to the "Create New Recording" section.

·Create New Recording: This option enables the user to schedule a manual recording job to occur once, weekly, on weekdays, or every day.  
·Edit: Use this option to edit the properties of the recording job, including the quality profile used when creating recordings.  
·Upcoming Recordings: This filter, located near the top of the page, will present the user with a list of all recordings scheduled under the existing recording jobs.  
·Show Conflicted Recordings: Applies a filter to this list, which will display any recordings in conflict at the top of the page.
