| · | Start Date: Sets the date on which the first or only recordings will occur. This can only be modified on manually scheduled recordings that occur Once.
|
| · | Day of Week: This value is automatically generated when recordings are scheduled. This can only be modified on manually scheduled Weekly recordings.
|
| · | Time: The time at which the recording or recordings will begin. This can only be modified on manually scheduled recordings.
|
| · | Length: The duration of the recording or recordings. This can only be modified on manually scheduled recordings.
|
| · | Channel: Specifies the channel on which the recording is to occur.
|
| · | On manually scheduled recordings, the user can change the channel to any available channel in the lineup.
|
| · | On recordings scheduled via the SnapStream.Net Program Guide, the user can choose the originally scheduled channel, or select "All Channels" to record the show from any channel on which it airs.
|
| · | This recording will occur: Specifies the frequency of the recording.
|
| For recordings scheduled via the Web Admin:
|
| · | Once: The recording will be performed only once.
|
| · | Weekly: The recording will be performed every week on the specified day.
|
| · | Weekdays: The recording will be performed Monday through Friday at the specified time.
|
| Note: If the recording starts between midnight and five AM, the recording will instead be performed Tuesday through Saturday. This is because weekday shows that air on networks at this time will instead be aired on those days. That is, for the purposes of scheduling recordings, Monday begins at 5 AM on Monday, and Friday ends at 5 AM on Saturday.

| · | Daily: The recording will be performed every day.
|
| For recordings scheduled via the SnapStream.Net Program Guide:
|
| · | All Episodes: The show will be recorded each time it airs.
|
| · | New Episodes: Only first-run episodes will be recorded.
|
| · | Title: The title of the recording. This affects both the displayed title of the show and its classification in the Web Admin and ViewScape "By Series" sorting. This value will read "Movies" for any movie, irrespective of its title.
|
| · | Series Description: The description for the series itself (rather than the particular episode). This is only displayed in the ViewScape if the Episode Description and Episode Title data are blank.
|
| · | Genre: Used to classify the show. This information appears only on the "View Details"ViweScape screen, as it is used primarily for the Browse By Category function when scheduling recordings.
|
| · | Quality: The Video Quality profile used to create the recordings under this job.
|
| · | Video Source: Allows the user to specify which of the configured Audio and Video Inputs to use for the recordings created by this job. This is useful for ensuring that a given series is always recorded in the desired format, as different sources have different format capabilities.
|
| · | Target Video Folder: Specifies which of the configured Video Folders the recordings created under this job will be placed.
|
| · | Create fixed content: Check this box to ensure that all recordings created by this job are marked "Keep until I delete," ensuring that the recordings will not be automatically deleted to make room for new recordings.
|
| · | Start the recording: Enables the user to modify the start time of the recording by up to three hours.
|
| · | Stop the recording: Enables the user to modify the end time of the recording by up to three hours.
|
| · | Max Number of Shows: Limits the number of recordings that will be created by this recording job. For example, if this value is set to 3, the software will delete the oldest of the three existing recordings when starting the fourth.
|
| · | SmartSkip: Allows the user to select whether or not SmartChapter generation, necessary to use the SmartSkip feature, will be performed on recordings created by this job. The following three options are available:
|
| · | Disabled: SmartChapters will not be generated on the files created by this job.
|
| · | Generate During Off Peak Times: SmartChapters will be generated only during "Off-peak times," which are configured in the "ShowSqueeze Settings" section of the Web Admin interface.
|
| · | Generate Immediately: SmartChapters will be generated during any time of the day. The SmartChapter job will be added to the queued in the list of tasks displayed in the "ShowSqueeze" section of the Web Admin interface.
|
| · | Convert for iTunes: Specifies whether recordings created by this recording job will be converted to an iTunes-compatible format.
|
| · | ShowSqueeze: Specifies whether or not ShowSqueeze will be performed on recordings created by this recording job.
|
| · | Format for ShowSqueeze: Specifies the file format to be created by the ShowSqueeze operation performed on recordings created by this job. Valid file formats are DivX or Windows Media. The "--Copy--" item will not recompress the file, but rather copy the recordings created by this job to the specified Target Video Folder.
|
| · | Intelligent Quality Selection: Enable this feature to allow the software to decide the quality profile to use when performing ShowSqueeze on the recordings created by this job.creating the new file. This feature attempts to choose a quality profile that will maintain the same level of video quality as the original. When disabled, the following option becomes available:
|
| · | ShowSqueeze Quality: Enables the user to select the Quality Profile to be used for the file created by ShowSqueeze.
|
| · | Delete Source File After ShowSqueeze: Specifies whether or not the software should delete the source file after it has created the new file.
|
| · | ShowSqueeze Target Store: Selects which of the configured Video Folders in which the file created by ShowSqueeze will be placed.
|
