SmartSkip™ is a function which inserts markers at major scene changes of recordings, creating chapters. These chapters appear as alternating dark and light blue bars on the track bar while viewing a recorded show.
To skip to the next chapter, hit the UPARROW key on the keyboard, or press UP on a remote control's directional pad. To skip to a previous chapter, hit the DOWNARROW key on the keyboard, or press DOWN on a remote control's directional pad. Pictured below is a screenshot depicting a show for which all of the commercial breaks have been indicated by the SmartSkip™ process.
Note: SmartSkip™ capability is not enabled by default; it must be enabled via the ShowSqueeze and SmartSkip Settings section of the ViewScape interface.
