Software Installation

This section provides a step-by-step walkthrough of the installation process

To begin installation from a downloaded file, locate the file in Windows Explorer and double-click on it.

To begin installation from CD-ROM, insert the Beyond TV 4 disc into the CD-ROM drive of the computer and close it; if installation does not start shortly, use Windows Explorer to to find "autorun.exe" file in the root directory of the CD and double-click it.

The Beyond TV 4 installation process will then begin. After starting the installer, proceed to Beyond TV Installer Start.

Note: If upgrading from a previous version of Beyond TV, the following screen may appear during installation:

It is recommended take this step to back up the previous version of Beyond TV in case you wish to revert to the previous version at some time in the future. Since the upgrade to Beyond TV version 4 is not free, some users who own Beyond TV 3 may try version 4 but decide not to buy it. This step will make it easy for the user to revert to the paid, previous version if he or she does not wish to purchase an upgrade.
