If the signal needs to be split, e.g. to feed more than one HDTV monitor or tuner card, use an HDTV-compliant splitter of at least 5 - 1100Mhz. Be careful not to use a combiner -- though combiners and splitters look very similar, if not identical, a combiner will not properly split the signal.
