Job Description

SnapStream Media is seeking a Software Engineer to join the team that develops the software for our Enterprise Television Search appliance.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing new and exciting features and products
Communicating with end users to identify areas of improvement or to bounce new ideas off of them
Working closely with QA, Marketing, and Customer Service to see the product from conception to production

Required Skills

Excellent programming skills in an object-oriented environment
Keen focus on end user experiences
Ability to communicate your thoughts and ideas to the rest of the team

Helpful Skills

Experience with C# (internships, etc.)
Experience with MS Visual Studio .Net
Experience with SQL
Experience designing user interfaces
Experience with graphics and 2D/3D interfaces (DirectX)
Experience with SOAP/WebServices/WCF/JSON
Knowledge and understanding of digital media (do you use this stuff at home?)
