Job Description

Do you have strong analytical and problem solving skills? Did you study engineering or some other technical field? Do you have a strong grasp of technology? Do you enjoy talking to people? Joining SnapStream as a sales engineer might just be the perfect fit for you.

SnapStream is seeking to hire a sales engineer to help sell its TV search products. Unlike other companies, at SnapStream, technical folks run our sales team. As such, our sales engineers won't be playing second fiddle to a non-technical sales person.

As a SnapStream sales engineer, you will seek out prospective customers, generate interest for SnapStream’s products, understand customer’s needs and requirements, demonstrate SnapStream's products, and answer questions (both business and technical), that arise throughout the sales process. You should be a confident presenter with excellent communication skills and a passion for talking to people.

Responsibilities

• Understand SnapStream’s TV search technology and products
• Effectively demonstrate SnapStream, in person or remotely, to prospective customers
• Gain a detailed understanding of customer's workflow and requirements
• Prepare detailed solution proposals that captures customer's requirements and articulation of SnapStream value
• Timely and accurate sales activity reporting and forecasting

Desired Skills & Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor's college degree (engineering or science degree is a BIG plus)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• General knowledge of Windows PC hardware and software
• Excellent customer skills with a passion for talking to people
• Follow-through and problem solving skills, resourcefulness, and attention to detail

SnapStream, a leader in enterprise TV search technology, is seeking a smart and energetic Software Engineer to join the team dedicated to developing software for our turnkey Enterprise Television Search appliance. The ideal candidate must take the quality of their code very seriously, must possess a great sense of humor, and when they cut their arm, they should bleed 0s and 1s.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing new and exciting features and products
• Communicating with end users to identify areas of improvement or to bounce new ideas off of them
• Working closely with QA, Marketing, and Customer Service to see the product from conception to production

Required Skills

• Excellent programming skills in an object-oriented environment
• Keen focus on end user experiences
• Ability to communicate your thoughts and ideas to the rest of the team
