Name

The name that will be used when referring to the Quality profile being edited.

Type
The video format used by the Quality profile being edited.

Frames per second
The frames (images) used per second in the recording. The more frames per second used, the smoother motion will appear in the recording. The practical upper limit on this value is 29.97*

Dimensions (pixels)
The dimensions, or resolution, of the recording. The higher this setting, the greater the clarity of pictures in the recording.

Average Video Bitrate
The bitrate (bits used per second), or size, used by the video portion of a recording. Measured in kilobits, or 1000 bits used. A value of 5000 here equates to 5000000 bits per second.

Audio Bitrate
Specifies the bitrate (bits used per second), or size, used by the audio portion of a recording.

AVC Profile
Specifies one of H.264's built-in quality profiles.

Adjust Output Resolution
Specifies how ShowSqueeze will resize the video.
·No (Default): Output resolution will be as specified in Dimensions option. Pixel shape will be adjusted to fit shape of original video. Use of this option will result in somewhat higher quality.
·Yes: Output resolution will be adjusted to fit shape of original video. Useful for devices such as the iPhone that do not recognize the way in which Beyond TV reshapes pixels.

Apple Device
Flags the profile as being for an Apple device. Qualities flagged in this way will appear in Pick Your Device on the iTunes Integration Settings page.
