The Email Notification Settings page allows configuration and management of settings for SnapStream TV Alerts, saved guide searches and warning e-mails.
SMTP Server
This is the address of the SMTP server on the local intranet. Enterprise TV will use this server to send its notification emails.
Enable Warning Email Notifications
This will cause Enterprise TV to dispatch an e-mail when it encounters warnings or errors.
To Email Address
Warning notification emails will be sent to this address. Multiple email can entered in this field, separated with commas.
From Email Address
Warning notification emails will be sent with this address in the From field.
Default From Email Address
This will be the from email address of every email sent by the SnapStream Enterprise TV Server by default.
Server Address
If this is not specified, links in notification e-mails will use your Enterprise TV Server's network name. Specifying this setting can make these links accessible outside of your local subnet.
Default Frequency
Determines how often searches will be performed by default.
Default Time of Day
Determines what time of day daily searches will be run by default.
Default Day of the Week
Determines what day of the week weekly searches will be run by default.
NOTE: The following three options will not appear unless Enable Clipping and ShowSqueezing of TV Alert Results is Enabled in Miscellaneous Settings.
Automatically Process Search Results
Each search result can be automatically processed into a new recording. Options are Clip, ShowSqueeze, or Clip and ShowSqueeze.
Leading Clip Buffer
Determines how much time before a match is included with a clip by default.
Trailing Clip Buffer
Determines how much time after a match is included with a clip by default.
Default to Text Only
If the recipients of TV Alerts typically do not have access to the SnapStream Enterprise TV Server, text-only TV Alerts may be useful. These alerts are identical to regular TV Alerts but do not include links back to the SnapStream Enterprise TV Server.
