Follow these instructions
Equipment needed:
USB-to-mini-USB cable
USB hub with power cable (optional)
USB-UIRT devices
1/8" Y-connectors (signal splitters)
Blink Emitters
Instructions:
1. Label each of your set-top boxes with a number: 1, 2, 3, etc.
2. If a USB hub is included, connect it to a USB port on the server. If not, skip to step 4.
3. Connect the USB hub to power.
4. Connect each USB-UIRT to one of the ports on the USB hub. IMPORTANT: Make sure that the five USB-UIRT devices are connected to the hub in numerical order.
OR
Connect each USB-UIRT to a USB port on the Enterprise TV Server.
5. Connect a Y-connector to each USB-UIRT. IMPORTANT: Make sure that the each Y-connector is labeled with numbers that match the numbers on the UIRT to which it is connected.
6. Connect a blink emitter to each side of each Y-connector.
7. Remove the backing from each blink emitter.
8. Stick each blink emitter next to the IR receiver on one of the set-top boxes. The blink emitter does not need to be directly on top of the IR receiver. IMPORTANT: Make sure that the number on each side of the Y-connector matches the number on the set-top box to which it is connected.
