This screen contains hints for configuring virus scanners to work properly with Enterprise TV on the system.
Many virus scanners employ "real-time" scanning, which will scan files as they are created on the hard drive. Since the recordings Enterprise TV makes and the Application Data folder Enterprise TV uses for its settings cannot contain viruses, it is recommended to disable scanning altogether for these folders. Failure to do so will cause decreased performance, can cause recording anomalies to occur, and in some cases can cause recordings to fail altogether.
