Remote Control Setup (optional)

Enterprise TV can be controlled by mouse, keyboard, or remote control. A remote control is especially useful if using Enterprise TV as a "ten foot" application. In such a setup, Enterprise TV displays on a television set or large monitor, and a wireless remote control is the simplest and most convenient way to control Enterprise TV's ViewScape interface. Remote controls can be found in our online store at store.snapstream.com or can be purchased from a number of retailers, online or otherwise.

The SnapStream Firefly remote is one such remote control, specifically designed for use with Enterprise TV.

If using a Firefly remote with Enterprise TV, install it first and then configure it as specified during installation.

If Enterprise TV was installed before the Firefly remote, simply shut down Enterprise TV, install Firefly, and restart Enterprise TV.

If a remote control will be used with Enterprise TV, simply follow the manufacturer's directions for setup. Ensure that the remote is functioning properly prior to installing Enterprise TV. The Enterprise TV Setup Wizard, which runs automatically after installation of Enterprise TV, will allow selection of which remote will control Enterprise TV. If the remote control was installed after Enterprise TV, simply run the Setup Wizard (available from the same Program Group as Enterprise TV) again to choose the remote.
After finishing the Setup Wizard and starting Enterprise TV, the remote can be tested in the ViewScape interface.
