Select Service Tier

Select the "Service Tier" that matches the level of service purchased from the TV service provider.


There are three options available:

1.

Basic: The lowest level of service available. In analog cable setups, this will include only the local channels.

2.

Extended Basic: The midrange level of service. In analog cable setups, this will include local channels and non-premium channels, such as Comedy Central and the Sci-Fi Channel.

3.

Premium: This includes all channels. This includes all channels, including paid channels such as HBO and Showtime.

Notes:

A box entitled Include local channels will appear if configuring a Satellite lineup. Check this box to ensure, irrespective of the selected tier, that local channels will appear in the lineup.

If the tier selected contains channels not present in the user's lineup, the channels can be suppressed from display in the Program Guide by "hiding" them in the Channels section of the Web Admin interface's Settings section.

After selecting the proper service tier, hit NEXT and proceed to the next section of this document, "Select Audio Device."
