User Configuration

Feature usage permissions for users of Enterprise TV are defined by assigning the users to groups. Permission for each type of task can be enabled or disabled for each group of users, allowing granular control of the access available to each group. These options are managed in the User Configuration menu on the Advanced Settings page of the Web Admin. There is no limit to the number of users or groups that can be configured.

NOTE: The User Configuration option will not appear in the Advanced Settings page until Security is switched to Enabled in Security Settings.



This page lists all users and groups that are configured in Enterprise TV.

Enterprise TV is preconfigured with five local user groups: Administrators, Basic Schedulers, Live TV Viewers, Pre-Recorded Viewers and Schedulers. See Preset User Groups for information on these predefined groups.

·	Add / Edit LDAP Linked Group: In order to use LDAP groups for SnapStream User Configuration, the LDAP Integration option must be enabled in the Security Settings menu.
