The Interface Settings page allows modification of the graphical ViewScape interface.
Enable Software Rendering
Configures Enterprise TV to display the ViewScape interface entirely without using the 3d-acceleration abilities of the graphics card. This setting should not be enabled unless the display adapter is not fully DirectX 9 compliant.
Exclusive Fullscreen Resolution
The resolution the ViewScape interface will use when running as a full-screened application. Enabling this option can help lower CPU usage during playback, but does not work with All-In-Wonder devices or in "3D accelerated" Video Renderer as chosen as in Video Player Settings.
Default Starting Screen
The ViewScape screen loaded when the ViewScape is launched. Also see the Default Beyond TV Interface in Miscellaneous Settings, which governs what interface is launched on system startup.
Exit ViewScape Option
Specifies whether or not the Home menu of the ViewScape interface contains a command to exit it.
Use Mouse
Specifies whether or not mouse control is enabled. If enabled, mouse control elements will be present on the screen, and menus will appear if the mouse is moved. If controlling the software with a remote control or keyboard, it may help to disable mouse control.
Player Information Timeout
The amount of time, during Live TV or playback, a show's information (Name / Episode name / Description) will remain on the screen before automatically dismissing itself.
Player Guide Timeout
The amount of time, during Live TV or playback, the transparent guide will remain on the screen before automatically dismissing itself. Note that this guide is only transparent when the "3D Accelerated" Video Renderer option is selected in [Player Settings].
Screen Saver
The number of minutes of inactivity after which the screen saver will activate. Note that the screensaver will not activate during playback unless paused.
Disable Aero
On Windows Vista, this will disable the Aero Glass effect when the ViewScape interface is open. This setting has no effect on other versions of Windows.
