Web Admin
Home

The Web Admin Interface allows you to access every option and feature in Beyond TV 3.5. Its primary purpose is to make configuration changes to Beyond TV, but you can also watch live TV and recorded shows remotely using this interface. As it is accessible through a web-browser, you can access the Web Admin interface on the machine running Beyond TV or remotely over a home network or the internet. See the instructions below for launching the Web Admin interface.

·Using the local web-browser

In the browser's address field, type http://localhost:8129. Provided that the Beyond TV server is running, the main configuration page will open. If you get a browser error indicating that the server cannot be found, make sure that Beyond TV is running by going to Start > Programs > SnapStream Media > Beyond TV 3. If you get an error indicating that Beyond TV is already running and you are still unable to reach the Web Admin, contact the SnapStream Support Desk.

·Using a remote web-browser

In the browser's address field, type http://<IP Address>:8129 where <IP Address> is the IP Address of the machine on which Beyond TV is running. For example, a user at a computer in their home office can make a configuration change on the computer running Beyond TV in the media room by accessing it over a home network. The user would enter http://192.168.1.122:8129 in office computer web-browser
