Adjusting Recording Priorities

After selecting "Change job priority" on a recording job from the "Recording Settings and Priorities" screen, the highlight of the selected show will darken, as in the following example:

Once selected in this manner, the priority of the show can be adjusted by moving the mouse to the desired position, pressing the UP or DOWN arrows on the keyboard, or the UP or DOWN directional keys on a remote control. In the following example, "Fear Factor" has been placed at the top:

Once the desired priority has been selected as mentioned above, left-click with the mouse, hit ENTER on the keyboard, or hit SELECT / OK on the remote control:

The numbers will adjust so that "Fear Factor" has been placed at the top of the priority list, ensuring that the recordings created by this job are favored over all others if conflicts occur.

NOTE: This operation will cause Beyond TV to rebuild the schedule of upcoming recordings, which is a processor-intensive operation. Users may experience a delay during this process depending on the speed of the computer's processor and the number of recordings scheduled.
