Software Setup and Install Beyond TV

This section contains instructions for the installation and setup of Beyond TV. After completing this section, Beyond TV is ready to use.

First, refer to the System Requirements section to ensure that the system on which Beyond TV 4 will be installed meets the minimum system requirements.

Proceed to the appropriate section for step-by-step instructions on setup and installation. Note that these sections should be followed from beginning to end.

Satellite or digital cable: Covers setup and installation for digital cable or satellite TV broadcast sources.

Regular cable or analog antenna: Covers setup and installation for regular (analog) cable or (analog) antenna broadcast sources.

Digital / HDTV: Covers setup and installation for a high-definition television (HDTV, digital) broadcast source.

If setting up multiple tuners, pick one broadcast type above to start with; additional instructions will appear in the appropriate section. If multiple tuners are to record from different broadcast types, begin by setting up the tuner which should be used most often.
