·Skin - This setting determine the look of Beyond Media. Select one of the skins (the default skins are BTV, Classic, and BlueWave).

·Launch BeyondTV - This setting determines if BeyondTV starts when your computer starts or if you have to start it manually. Set to On Startup to have BeyondTV start when your computer starts up. Set to When Selected to have BeyondTV start manually.

·Enable Mouse - This setting determines if your mouse will work with Beyond Media, or not. Set to Enabled to have the mouse work regularly. Set to Disabled if you plan to only use a remote and your keyboard to operate Beyond Media.

·Mouse Timeout - This setting is the number of seconds before Beyond Media hides mouse-only menu features, such as the slideshow navigation buttons. Set to a low number if you are using a remote only. Set to a high number if you are using the mouse to operate Beyond Media.

·Show Hidden Files - This setting determines if Beyond Media shows hidden system files and folders while you are browsing, or not. Set this to On or Off. Set to On to have Beyond Media show hidden system files and folders. Set to Off to have Beyond Media hide the files and folders.

·Power Management Override - Set this to Always or Videos and Slideshows. Set to Always to have Beyond Media keep your computer active without you having to use the keyboard or mouse. Set to Videos and Slideshows to have Beyond Media only keep your computer active during Slideshows and Videos.

·Disk Cache - Set this to On or Off. Set to On to have Beyond Media cache images it uses. Set to Off to have Beyond Media not cache images. Caching images reduces the memory Beyond Media uses.

·Screen Saver Wait - Set this to Off or to the number of minutes to wait before Beyond Media's screen saver starts.

·View Thumbnails - Set this to On or Off. Set to On to have Beyond Media generate thumbnails while you are browsing. Set to Off to have Beyond Media not generate thumbnails. Turning off thumbnails may increase performance, but make it harder to find specific files.

·HUD Timeout - Set this to the desired number of seconds of input inactivity before Beyond Media hides the video control buttons.
