File Browser

Beyond Media Basic includes a feature that allows you to browse the file system on your computer. Use this feature to open applications or locate and launch specific files. The "Browse Files" option appears in the Main Menu by default. Use these instructions for opening individual files with your Firefly Remote Control.

NOTE: The file browser allows you to open any file on your PC. If the application you use to open the file is not a supported application, you may not be able to access all features of the application with your Firefly Remote.

Press the Firefly Button to launch the Beyond Media Basic Main Menu.

Scroll through the Main Menu until you reach the Browse Files option. Select it to open the File Browser.

Locate any file on your PC, such as an MP3 or MPEG-2 file, select it and it will launch in the appropriate application.

Return to the Main Menu by pressing the Firefly Button or selecting the option Back to Main Menu and hitting the OK button.
