Create a Workflow to Export SnapStream Recording Transcripts

Workflows allow you to set up recurring actions for recordings. In this how-to, we will set up exporting of recording transcripts for completed recordings.

Choose “Workflows” under Settings on the Admin page to go to the Workflows page.

Choose “Add New Workflow”.

Give your workflow a name.

Set your Trigger for this workflow from the Trigger Conditions drop down menu. For this workflow, we will choose the “Recording Finished” trigger. This will trigger a transcript export on all recordings after recording has completed.

Drag and drop the “Generate Transcript” action to your workflow.

Select the export location for your transcripts from the “Folder” picklist. (To add an export location, see here)

To have a transcript e-mailed in addition to being exported, include an e-mail address in the field provided.

Your new workflow is complete and is immediately running. If you need to make edits, simply click on it in the list.

To remove a workflow, select it and click “Delete”. You can delete multiple workflows by selecting multiple checkboxes.
